DIY mode turns the panel into a grid you paint on from your phone. Draw a tree, type a name, or upload a GIF and watch it play across the window. It is the difference between lights that twinkle and lights that say something.

Unbox and unfold
The panel comes folded. Lay it out flat on the floor and let it settle for a minute so the strands hang straight.

Hang the top edge
Work along the top, left to right. Get that line right and the rest falls square on its own.

Set the timer
Pick an off time so it is not burning all night. This is the step everyone skips and then wishes they had not.
Five minutes if the hanging goes well, fifteen if you are fussy about the top line.

Most people live on the presets and open DIY mode a handful of times a year. Both are in the same app and you can switch between them in a second.

Can I put it outside?
The panel is IP65 rated, which covers rain on a wall or under a gutter. Keep the plug and the controller under cover and do not leave either sitting in water.
Do I need the app?
No. The remote in the box turns it on, changes scene and sets brightness. The app is what you need for DIY mode, drawing and the timer.
Which size should I get?
Measure the gap first. The 2M suits a standard window or the space behind a tree. The 3M is for a wall or a large patio door. Both carry 400 LEDs, so the 3M spreads them further apart.
How clear is a drawing on it?
It is 400 LEDs, so think chunky pixel art rather than a photograph. Short words and simple shapes read well from across the street. Detailed images do not.
Will it run all night?
It will, but set the timer in the app instead. Pick an off time once and it handles it every night after.
When will it arrive?
